Patagonia
We started the cooperation with the Center for Scientific Tourism / CIEP, Patagonia / Chile in 2007 during the Global Ecotourism Conference in Oslo and we visited Patagonia in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Ecotourism was not sufficient to ensure impact monitoring. For this reason we came up with Scientific tourism to truly document the changes that were taking place and to conduct research with the intention of improving the environment.
