The center is 40 square meters big and can hold around 30 people at a time.
It is located next to the Bryggehotell, on the waterfront, close to the parking lot in the entrance of Henningsvær.

Here you will find:
- Research office - where scientists work
- Library with books, magazines, documentaries and films related to nature and conservation with focus on Arctic Wildlife, Lofoten, Marine Biology, Animal Communication and Fisheries
- Art and Photo exhibition related to the nature and culture of Lofoten
- Multi-media presentations given by a biologist
- Wildlife excursions can be booked there
